In the final week of the home and away season for most of the football and soccer teams, St Joseph's secured some valuable victories ahead of the finals next week.

The 1st XVIII Football team took centre stage with an outstanding performance in the Reconciliation Trophy Match against St Bernard's Essendon. St Joseph's left their opponents in the dust, securing an impressive victory with a score of 20.16 (136) to 4.1 (25). The star of the match was Patrick Hughes, who dominated the game by scoring a remarkable nine goals. Declan Foley and Michael Rudd also made notable contributions, adding three and two goals respectively. The standout players included Hughes, Flynn Chirgwin, Rudd, Ethan Borys, Angus Morrison, Jesse Mellor, Lachlan Jaques, and Cooper Patton. With this win, St Joseph's finished third on the ladder and will enjoy a well-deserved week off before the Semi Final against St Bede's.

In Year 10 Football, St Joseph's faced a tough challenge against Parade Bundoora, both teams going into the game undefeated. Although they put up a valiant effort, they were ultimately defeated by 33-points in blustery conditions. Hugo Walsh and Eamon Roberts provided a glimmer of hope scoring two goals each, whilst Thomas Handley, Jordie Stone, Walsh, and Tyson Roberts were recognized as the team's best players. Despite the loss, St Joseph's secured second place on the ladder and will now gear up for a home Semi Final clash against Whitefriars Donvale next week.

The Year 9 Red Football team engaged in an intense battle against Parade Bundoora and emerged victorious with a final score of 11.7 (73) to 9.8 (62). Despite conceding 5-unanswered goals in the last quarter, St Joseph's displayed great teamwork, with multiple players contributing to the goal tally earlier in the match. Harry Lever, William Hibble, and Ryder Warry stood out by scoring two goals each, whilst Jack Pickett, Darcy Harrington, Tom Clark, and Hibble were praised for their exceptional performances. Finishing third on the ladder, St Joseph's will now face an away Semi Final against Whitefriars Donvale in the coming week.

Similar success was observed in the Year 9 Yellow Football team, where St Joseph's secured a resounding 84-point victory over Parade Bundoora. Koby Bajada, Will Skabla, and Jake Findlay led the charge by contributing two goals each to the team's triumph. Rupert Flanders, Billy King, Bajada, and Skabla were hailed as the standout players. With their third-place finish on the ladder, St Joseph's will face an away Semi Final against Whitefriars Donvale next week.

In soccer action, the 1st XI Soccer team faced a tough challenge against St Bede's Mentone, succumbing to a heavy 12-1 defeat. Harry Hardy managed to find the back of the net for St Joseph's lone goal. Jack McTaggart, Jude Coverdale, Yuriy Tychenok, and Akolde Lueth showcased their skills and were recognized as the team's top performers. The team now prepares for their final match of the season next week at St Bernard's College.

The Year 10 Soccer team encountered a close battle against St Bernard's Essendon, falling short in a 4-3 loss. Alexander Giorgio, Patrick Wall, and Lachlan Whitelaw were the goal scorers whilst Giorgio, Luke Siketa, and Liam Paterson demonstrated their abilities and were acknowledged as the team's best players. With a second-place finish on the ladder, St Joseph's will now host a Semi Final showdown against St Bernard's again next week.

Unfortunately, the Year 9 Soccer team faced a disappointing result, failing to secure a victory against Mazenod Mulgrave with a final score of 0-3. This loss prevented them from advancing to the finals.
