Background and History

The St Joseph’s College Foundation, established in 1995, is a significant stakeholder in the College and is proud to make regular contributions to quality facility upgrades and further learning opportunities for its students.

Our goal is to implement a range of successful initiatives to generate ongoing income and grow a diversified portfolio of investments to provide long-term financial growth. The Foundation acknowledges the diversity of current families and past students, which add to the rich tapestry of our College Community.

St Joseph’s College, Geelong, has grown, over the past 80 years, into one of Victoria’s significant Catholic boys’ Colleges. In the process, generations of young men have achieved personal success within a Christian culture.

Most of the College’s facilities have been made possible through the outstanding generosity of past generations, a combination of Catholic families and the dedication of the Christian Brothers. The need today is equally as great. Some time ago, the College Board and Administration realised that for the College to continue to provide affordable education into the future, the College Community will be required to make a continuing Investment
