Mr Tom Darley kindly visited our 2022 senior Student Leaders at lunchtime last week, to share his expert knowledge of public speaking. The information was practical and helpful for students, to encourage success in future presentations, often led by the student leaders. We would like to express our sincere thanks to Mr Darley for all of his time and effort, in preparing and presenting to this eager student audience.

Mr Darley came to speak to a group of boys as well as staff, about public speaking. He provided some great tips and tricks on how to speak well and capture the audience. From the simplest things, such as taking a breath before you begin, to how you present yourself on stage. Personally, I know that I will be using all of these lessons long into the future.
