Thanks to all the young musicians in the SJC senior band, and to their conductor Mr John Collinson, for their wonderful performance at our music information night on Tuesday 15 February. After only two rehearsals, the band played beautifully and represented the music program with pride. We are extremely fortunate to have a well-resourced and supported music program at SJC that provides amazing opportunities to the students.

Missed the Music information night and keen to know more about the amazing music program at St Joseph's? Our Junior Band Academy is open to all students learning a new instrument for the first time from any year level. We still have vacancies on brass (trumpet/trombone/tuba) and woodwind (Sax/clarinet/flute), along with percussion and bass guitar with excellent quality instruments for hire as a part of the program. The junior band academy rehearses Wednesdays from 3:30-5:00pm with expert experienced tutors for each instrument.
