Year 8 English

Robert Newton session

On Friday 20 August, Robert Newton, author of the Year 8 English text Runner, spoke to all of the Year 8 English classes. During these online sessions, Robert spoke about his writing methods, his research in preparation for writing the historical novel Runner, and his day job as a firefighter. The Year 8 students have been highly engaged with this text, and really enjoyed this session that enabled them to further develop their understanding of Runner.
