Our Community
Last week, we were able to acknowledge the academic and co-curricular achievements of our Mt Sion students for 2021. This occasion is a celebration of student achievement in Years 10, 11 and 12 and a chance to reflect on the significant effort that has been made by our students as they persisted through the challenges of remote learning and the impacts of COVID-19.
As we were not able to gather as a full College community, or invite our parents and significant others to the Awards ceremony, we once again streamed the event to our senior classrooms and broader community.
To acknowledge the importance of this event, we would like to share a collective video capturing the spirit of the morning, and we have included a link to the powerfully motivating speech by Old Collegians Todd and George Divine, a must view on inclusivity and diversity and the importance we all can make to each other.
We thank all students who were acknowledged during this ceremony and congratulate them on their achievements and contribution to the life of SJC.
