Our Year 11 Food Studies Students travelled to the Queen Victoria Market this week to go on a culinary adventure!

Students have been studying the impact of migration on Australian cuisine. The market allowed the Food Studies team to see first hand how the patterns of migration have changed, along with how our modern-day cuisine has been influenced by our Indigenous Australians, the arrival of the First Fleet, European immigration post WW11 through to current refugee settlements. The boys had an extensive tour of the fresh food area, with plenty of delicious samples included.
