FOUNDATION

Background and History

The St Joseph’s College Geelong Foundation was established in 1995 and has provided the structure for the organisation and administration of the continuing investment raising, fund placement, growth and expenditure programs. St Joseph’s College, Geelong, has grown, over the past 80 years, into one of Victoria’s significant Catholic boys’ Colleges. In the process, generations of young men have achieved personal success within a Christian culture.

Most of the College’s facilities have been made possible through the outstanding generosity of past generations, a combination of Catholic families and the dedication of the Christian Brothers. The need today is equally as great. Some time ago, the College Board and Administration realised that for the College to continue to provide affordable education into the future, the College Community will be required to make a continuing Investment
